Meet Dan
My path to financial planning wasn’t traditional—it was "transformational". Early in adulthood, I experienced firsthand the consequences of poor financial advice, student loan debt without a degree, and limited career mobility. I faced plenty of challenges, but those experiences became the foundation of what I have to admit was a powerful professional turnaround.
Determined to take control of my future, I leaned into hard work, faith, and perseverance. I returned to school, earned my Finance degree summa cum laude, and found my calling in helping others build financial security. Rather than being defined by past mistakes, I used them as fuel to create a life rooted in purpose and service.
Today, I am happily married and a proud father of four, including one son serving in the Ohio National Guard. I volunteered as a leader for over a decade in the Boy Scouts of America, both act and direct in community theater, and I love to unwind with whiskey and wine, gaming, and time outdoors with my family.
And, with 17 years of financial planning experience in larger corporations, I am embarking on my next greatest adventure: Wrought Iron Financial, LLC. After successfully pulling myself up and forging my own better future for my family and I, I formed my own independent, fee-for-service RIA firm to embrace the fiduciary standard of care for my clients. No commissions or sales gimmicks - just financial planning done with intention and purpose-driven investment management.
